A while back I was concerned about one guy I worked with being on the fast-track to firedville, and they just called an emergency meeting to announce that that had indeed just happened. While he’s not the best guy I’ve ever worked with, he really did get a bad rap for his shitty application being a constant issue.

But the other half where I thought they’d sucker me into supporting it? They also announced that they’ve brought in a contractor to handle it until they hire someone permanent. So I’m off that particular hook.

I imagine they were going to do this yesterday but he called in sick. It’s a bummer, I worked with this guy at my last company too, from which he was fired… hm. Maybe it’s not all the app after all, heh.
