SINGAPORE (AP) The CEO of a virtual currency exchange was found dead near her home in Singapore.

I’d have expected this from the CEO of MTGox, but this isn’t him. Russian mafia is probably still after that one. This was CEO of First Meta which I have to say I’d never heard of before.

Generally speaking I’m not one to gloat at someone’s death (Margaret Thatcher being the most recent exception, may she rot in a hell I don’t believe in), and I don’t in this case, but as a new milestone in the downfall of the ridiculous cult of Bitcoin I can’t help but feel amusement. Somewhere out their a handful of people who decided to start putting money into that shit sparked a fad, and now there’s blood on their hands as a result.
