Beardliness

The other day, Procter and Gamble issued their 2nd quarter earnings forecast. They revealed that (as the owners of Gilette) the biggest challenge they were facing right now is that beards are back in vogue

Although on the surface it makes sense, I am nevertheless annoyed at what a stupid statement that seems to be. And although I’ve used Gilette more or less my whole life, perhaps it’s time for a change.

So I purchased my first old school double edged safety razor, shaving brush and mug, etc. And I’m going to try to turn that into a habit instead. If I managed to kill myself with it I’ll be sure to have Erin post something on the dangers of trying to escape Capitalist shaving superconglomerates.
