I’ve been a White Sox fan since around 1990, and in all that time, Ken “Hawk” Harrelson has been the announcer I’ve listened to. So to hear him break down into a tirade here is a little amusing.
There’s video at the link, but for those that don’t want to watch, the pitcher threw one just behind the batter, a pitch that falls into the “is he aiming for the batter” category. The ump ejects him, leading to a rant about how this particular umpire has been a “regular problem” and that he should be suspended until he’s gone back to officiating school. Quite surprised that there weren’t any expletives thrown in, actually.
