On the way out of the building I made a comment to the security-guy-on-random duty and asked what was up with the door. I expected a canned answer along the lines of “oh, maintenance,” or “found a bug, just getting it tweaked and taking longer than expected”. But no.
“I don’t know exactly, they said something about needing replacement parts because the voltages were getting to high and it couldn’t handle it….”
Err. What.
As I passed by I looked at the door again. There were a couple of the maintenance carts around it and a ladder set up, though nobody working. The panels at the top were open, to resolve the issues they had with VOLTAGE. IN A ROTATING DEATH TRAP.
It just doesn’t stop getting funnier does it.
