Another reason to ditch Facebook. This sort of thing is also why my ‘real name’ Twitter account is largely unused and clean, and my real one isn’t connected to my name at all. It’s also yet another reason to be interested in the still-in-development social platform Diaspora. It’s being worked on by a small group of developers who were sick of how weird Facebook’s privacy controls became, and it will focus on minute control over sharing your shit. I’m quite looking forward to it.
