Ever notice that fans of The Hunger Games… a tale about lower class children being forced into sickeningly dangerous and violently immoral situations by an upper class, largely but not wholly against their will… are often also fans of Ender’s Game… a tale about lower class children being forced into sickeningly dangerous and violently immoral situations by an upper class, largely but not wholly against their will?

Wonder if there are any other novels ending in the name game that follow that pattern. Iain M. Banks’s “Player of Games” doesn’t. But you know. Food for thought.
