MTGox has stopped trading. People who had money, or bitcoins, in their system may well never see it again. The site has been unlisted from some of the major trackers. Other trackers show a ~100 point collapse on most of the other exchanges.

Incidentally, do you know why it was called MTGox? Most people read it as Mt. Gox, like a mountain, but it’s not named for one or anything. See, it originally began as Magic: The Gathering Online Exchange. 

No, really. It was a site for trading Magic cards. They really branched out. What a shocker that they weren’t equipped to handle, you know, currency transfers. 

So again I go back to that first post I made about them a couple years ago. Bitcoin is an interesting thought experiment. Should you put money into it? Definitely not.
