How to survive a nuclear blast: errr… stand directly underneath it?

This doesn’t fall under my normal “learn shit” categories, but we’ll make an exception out of respect for the enormous testicles of these gentlemen. The link contains video of five air force officers standing directly under an air-to-air low grade nuclear exchange (by like 10k feet). It sounds like the intention was to show that it wouldn’t melt the earth if they used nuclear weapons for air exchanges.

The casual way the guy in the middle watches the explosion is hilarious. I’d almost expect him to be eating popcorn in a movie theatre.
